ABOUT ANDY

Andy Keating joined Twin City Seed in 2016 and today is the General Sales Manager. He specializes in turfgrass management, consulting and creating sustainable seed mixtures for sports fields, golf courses, parks and native areas throughout the Midwest.

Andy grew up in Minnesota and received his Bachelor of Science in both sports and urban turfgrass management from North Dakota State University, and later he earned a Master of Business Administration from Capella University. Prior to working at TCS, Andy was in the golf industry for 14 years specializing in the sustainable maintenance of turfgrasses, environmental impacts of chemicals and synthetic fertilizers, and water/drought management.

Andy loves utilizing his creativity when designing new or custom mixes from the hundreds of species and varieties of seed on the market. He appreciates that his is an industry of innovation that is actively trying to overcome the environmental challenges that our world faces today. Andy is excited that his team is leading that innovation in the Upper Midwest!

Andy has an in-depth understanding of the seed industry and utilizes that knowledge to diversify and manage market needs on behalf of his clients. His role is to develop products and processes that help strengthen the relationships and knowledge of Twin City Seed’s customers.

Andy is well respected by his clients for his knowledge and his dedication. They know he always has their best interests at heart.
