Deer & Wildlife Mixture #2

Mix 2 requires a little bit more finesse with planting. Depending on the area that you’re in, here in Minnesota, the ideal time to plant this mix is around Late June – Mid July. It can be planted at anytime, but in order for the turnips to grow a mature bulb it needs time to grow. Too early and they will mature before season opener. There’s plenty to like about this mix though, and it is our most popular seller.

  • 25% Tetragain Perennial Ryegrass
  • 25% Purple Top Turnip
  • 25% Dwarf Essex Rapeseed
  • 15% Chicory
  • 10% Alsike Clover
