Description
BLUE NOTE Kentucky Bluegrass is classified as a compact America type bluegrass featuring excellent color, texture, density, and shade tolerance under normal to moderate fertility management, including lowered mowing heights. BlueNote has very good cold tolerance and better winter color than most varieties. Its aggressive, forming a dense compact turf, particularly in summer-where its broad range of disease resistance coupled with drought tolerance, contributes to uniform “full plot” coverage. BlueNote is adapted to a wide range of climates, from the upper Mid-west down through the Transition zone. It’s suggested for elite bluegrass mixtures intended for sod production, golf/sports turf, and professional landscape.
